Children of all ages can access individual counselling in a supportive and child friendly environment with or without parental/guardian consent depending on their age.

Children who have sudden behavioral changes, such as problems eating or sleeping is usually an indication that they have experienced some form of trauma.

You are eligible for 6 counselling sessions free of charge if you have experienced a recent crisis and are unable to manage life. Counselling consists of specific goals for achieving stability and increasing overall sense of well-being.

For Women

Join with other women in a safe supportive group setting and a facilitated discussion as you share your stories and experiences and heal from trauma.
For Men

Men can access individual and group counselling if they have experienced childhood sexual abuse. The group provides a safe space for men to heal from childhood abuse.
For Seniors

Do you qualify as a senior? Then we have a group for you. The group provides a space for seniors to socialize and discuss topics that are relevant to the aging population.

Partner Assault Response (PAR)
Partner Assault Response (PAR) program is a program that addresses violence in intimate partner relationships with the aim of enhancing victim safety and increasing offender accountability.
In conjunction with Ontario’s Domestic Violence Court and Probation and Parole, PAR specializes in group therapy, counseling and psycho-educational services.

The PAR Program is a 12 week counselling program designed to assist participants, who committed an assault or similar offence against their partners, to stop their abusive and controlling behaviors.

Women who have experienced or are experiencing childhood, recent or ongoing abuse can access individual and group counselling, support and advocacy.
Violence Against Women (VAW)
Women often experience violence in domestic relationships. Some women have difficulties making their own decisions, voicing their own opinions or protecting themselves and their children for fear of further repercussions.
Individual counselling supports women to make healthy decisions for themselves and their families, heal from trauma that they have experienced and reclaim their lives.

Violence Against Women Seniors (VAW Seniors)
Women aged 55 and older who have experienced childhood and recent abuse and are experiencing ongoing abuse can access individual and group counselling, support and advocacy.
Senior women usually keep silent as they are ashamed and often think that they have no other option but to endure the abuse. The abuse can also be from children who control time, access and resources and finances of their aging mothers.

No appointments, free, immediate, private, and confidential Walk-In Counselling is available every Wednesday and Saturday. Meet with our professional and qualified multicultural staff for support, advocacy, and referrals to other available services.
