The philosophy of counselling is to offer various interventions and support to individuals, couples, families, and groups focused on helping people manage life and deal with everyday issues. Counselling staff work with their clients to develop personalized strategies and solutions that help to promote hope and wellness in the client, their family and the community at large. Available in several languages and via an interpreter, this program offers up to twelve sessions of counselling with fees based on a sliding scale. Referrals to this program are open.

This program provides counselling for individuals questioning their sexual identity, “coming out”, family members seeking information on how to support a gay family member, and teenagers experiencing intra and interpersonal challenges.

We provide educational workshops to community partners on gay issues and outreaches into the community.

This program provides one-to-one counselling and support, home visits, completion of a needs assessment, information and referrals, case management, written support letters, advocating on behalf of the client and a wellness group for seniors at Peel Senior Link.

Seniors can access individual or group counselling, group wellness (yoga, etc), case management with ODSP, CCAC, Red Cross, and other service providers.

The Walk-In Counselling program is designed to offer immediate intervention and support to individuals, couples and families experiencing a crisis, requiring immediate support, looking to connect with a service provider, seeking information about specific services in the community, or requiring advocacy and referrals. This program recognizes the differing individual and family values and goals while respecting and valuing variations in cultural, ethnic and racial backgrounds, sexual orientation and gender identification, age and physical or intellectual abilities. The walk-in counselling is available every Wednesday from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, excluding statutory holidays.
